Acceptance and Eligibility
VerbyGo is operated by Alejandro Ruiz Fernandez, an individual domiciled in Medellín, Colombia. Legal identification: NIT 1193502541-1. Address for legal notifications: CR 40 A A 59 C 40 BRR SANTA ANA, Bello, Antioquia, Colombia. In these Terms, "VerbyGo," "we," "us," and "our" refer to that service and its operator.
By creating an account or using VerbyGo, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
You must be at least 18 years old to create and use a personalized VerbyGo account. By creating an account, you represent that you are at least 18 years old. Users under 18 may not create an account or make purchases through a VerbyGo account. Public educational pages may remain accessible without registration.
The Service
VerbyGo provides focused tools for learning Spanish, including Listening, Spanish Vocabulary, Spanish Conjugation, and saved learning progress. Public educational pages may be available without an account. VerbyGo may be accessed from multiple countries, subject to applicable law and service availability; it is not represented as available in every country.
Features may be improved, replaced, limited, or discontinued as the product develops. AI Tutor is not part of the launch offering or any current paid-access promise.
Accounts
You are responsible for providing accurate account information, protecting your credentials, and promptly notifying Support if you believe your account has been compromised. You may not sell, transfer, share, or use an account to bypass access controls.
Five-Day Trial
Eligible regular accounts may receive five days of full access. A payment card is not required merely to begin this trial. Trial eligibility, timing, and access are determined from server-side account records. Future trial offers may change or be discontinued.
Paid Plans
The launch catalog is:
- Monthly: $9.99 USD, billed every month until cancelled.
- Annual: $69.99 USD, billed every year until cancelled.
- Lifetime: $149.99 USD as a one-time purchase.
The checkout displays the final price, tax, billing interval, and purchase terms before payment. If a future price changes, it will apply only as permitted by the checkout terms and applicable law.
Recurring Subscriptions
Monthly and Annual plans renew automatically at their billing interval until cancelled. You can manage or cancel a subscription through the Lemon Squeezy customer portal. Cancellation stops future renewal but does not itself refund a completed charge. Access continues through the paid period end shown by VerbyGo or Lemon Squeezy unless access is removed because of a refund, payment reversal, fraud, abuse, or another lawful reason.
Lifetime Access
Lifetime is a non-transferable entitlement for the stable VerbyGo learning tools covered by that purchase while VerbyGo continues to operate those tools. It is not a promise of AI Tutor, every future product, every future paid feature, or uninterrupted availability forever.
Future metered, AI-powered, separately priced, or otherwise distinct products and features may not be included in Lifetime.
If a Lifetime account is deleted, the account and learning data are removed and the entitlement is not automatically transferred to a newly created account. The original purchaser may contact Support. After server-side verification of sufficient original purchase evidence, VerbyGo may manually restore only the non-transferable Lifetime entitlement to an eligible replacement account. Deleted progress, profile data, preferences, history, Managed access state, and other learning data are not restored.
Managed Access
Some users receive access through a managed invitation, code, or account classification instead of a retail plan. Managed access is governed by the assigned access dates and status and does not display retail prices or checkout. Managed access instruments are personal, may not be transferred, and remain consumed after use.
Payments, Cancellation, and Refunds
Lemon Squeezy processes checkout as Merchant of Record. Its checkout and buyer terms also apply to purchases. See the Lemon Squeezy Buyer Terms.
Cancellation is different from a refund: cancellation stops a future renewal, while a refund concerns a completed payment. Refund requests and their effects are described in the Refund Policy. Account deletion does not automatically cancel a provider-side transaction or generate a refund.
Account Deletion
You may request account deletion by contacting Support. When the in-app deletion feature is enabled and available for your account, you may also use Settings > Account & data after reauthentication and explicit confirmation. If a recurring subscription is still active, you must first schedule cancellation so that future renewal is stopped. Deletion may not proceed while a payment, refund, dispute, chargeback, reversal, or other commercial operation is pending.
Once cancellation is scheduled, deletion may proceed after a clear warning. Deletion permanently removes the account, profile, saved Vocabulary data, Listening history, Conjugation progress, preferences, onboarding/history, and other eliminable learning data, and signs the user out. Any remaining trial, paid period, managed access, or other entitlement is forfeited when the user voluntarily deletes the account. Deletion does not create an automatic refund.
Minimal pseudonymized records may be retained for payment reconciliation, refunds, fraud prevention, disputes, security, Lifetime verification, audit, or legal obligations as described in the Privacy Policy.
Content and License
VerbyGo and its licensors own the app, branding, exercises, text, audio, images, software, and other protected materials. Subject to these Terms, VerbyGo grants you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for your own learning. You may not copy, resell, redistribute, publicly reproduce, or create a competing dataset or service from VerbyGo content without permission.
Acceptable Use
- Do not use VerbyGo for illegal, harmful, fraudulent, or abusive activity.
- Do not bypass payment, authentication, security, rate, or access controls.
- Do not scrape, extract, copy, resell, or redistribute content or account data except as allowed by law or written permission.
- Do not interfere with the availability, security, performance, or accounts of the service.
- Do not submit false payment, refund, identity, or support claims.
Availability and Accuracy
VerbyGo is an educational service provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We work to keep the learning content accurate and the service reliable, but exercises, translations, audio, progress, or features may contain errors or be interrupted. VerbyGo is not a substitute for professional educational, legal, financial, or other advice.
Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, VerbyGo is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from use of or inability to use the service. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Suspension and Termination
VerbyGo may restrict, suspend, or terminate access when reasonably necessary to address fraud, abuse, security risks, payment reversals, unlawful conduct, or a material violation of these Terms. Where appropriate, we may provide notice or an opportunity to contact Support.
Governing Law and Courts
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Colombia, without limiting any mandatory consumer protections that may apply to you under the laws of your place of residence.
Subject to any mandatory rights you may have under applicable law, disputes relating to these Terms will be submitted to the competent courts of Medellín, Colombia.
Changes to the Service or Terms
We may update these Terms or the service as VerbyGo changes. The revised date will be posted here, and additional notice will be provided when required by applicable law. Changes do not remove non-waivable consumer rights.
